Become In The Heat Of The Activity With 3D HD Televisions By Panasonic And Some Tips On How 3D Works
April 10, 2011High-definition televisions have become the absolute mainstream of our society and there are very few televisions that don’t provide such abilities. It’s almost impossible to buy a new TV incapable of high-definition, even though most of the programs and films we watch simply aren’t in the resolutions required. Gaming is an exception, as it’s been provided in high-definition resolutions for many years, way before the inception of high-definition television. With 3D televisions now becoming the new mainstream (though adoption is still pretty slow), it’s time to take a look at the new line being provided and explore exactly how 3D works. Let’s get immersed in the action with 3D HDTVs by Panasonic.
How 3D Works
There are many different techniques. The older method, as previously mentioned, was the anaglyph. This uses images that are portrayed in three separate images in the same place. The first is the original image. The second is red and offset and the third is a chromatically opposite color, such as cyan or green, which is offset even further. The brain fuses these images together to create the illusion of a 3D image, when viewed through the anaglyph glasses.
For polarization 3D, most of the color has remained within the image, allowing for a much improved visual quality. The 3D image is achieved by superimposed two differently polarized images on top of each other. When viewed through two polarized lens, the individual’s different eyes see two different images, allowing for depth in the image. While very similar to anaglyph, the additional colors allow for a lot more quality.
