Blackstone Artists Management Talent Considered
April 27, 2011Blackstone Artist Management is heralding several of the artists that it represents. Two pianists are among their featured performers. These are the pianists Hung-Kuan Chen and Victor Stanislavsky. The two men have won numerous awards and attracted quite a following.
Audiences have been listening to Victor work about Europe as well as in several parts of Asia. Among his play dates have been those in China, France, Russia, and Germany, He has played several cities in America acting as a soloist and together with several orchestras. Somehow he had to fit a tour of duty in the Israel military into his performance agenda. He attributes much of his attitude and dedication to values he learned through this service.
Born in 1982 in the Ukraine, Victor relocated in Israel in 1990 where he became a student of piano. His first award on the instrument came at the age of ten. A musicology student who has attended several renown institutes, he obtained his bachelor and master degrees in Tel Aviv.
The other talented pianist featured at the agency is Hung-Kuan Chen. Raised in Germany, he was born in Taiwan. His career has been studded with awards. Among the earliest of these was the career grant as an Avery Fisher winner in 1991. A gold medal from the Arthur Rubenstein Foundation soon followed.
Other first came from the Busoni group and competition sponsored by Geza Anda. He won the International Chopin competition and another from Van Cliburn. Other prizes have come to him from Queen Elizabeth and the city of Montreal. Chen heads departments at the International Piano Academy and Shanghai Conservatory. Before this experience, he taught at Boston University and other schools in New England and in Canada.
This artist has performed in major cities in Europe, Asia, and the Americas. He has also played with orchestras in San Francisco, Montreal, Pittsburgh, Baltimore, Houston, Israel, and Shanghai. Among the gifted conductors he has worked with are Christopher Eschenbach, Hans Graf, Josef Silverstein, George Cleve, Andrew Parrett, Christoph Eschenbach, and Sui Lan. This year, he will play major dates in Boston, San Francisco, New York’s Carnegie Hall, and in Guangzhou, Shanghai, and several other large cities.
These are two of the major talents promoted by Blackstone Artist Management. They are representative of the firm’s dedication to providing hard working artists with a helping hand. These two will be heard from well into the future.
