Britney Spears Adds Las Vegas to Her Promo Journey
April 6, 2011After the Full and energetic release of ‘Female Fatale’ in US during almost one week, Now the Britney Spears has decided to give an other performance as a part of her promo campaign . Britney Spears Voiced this plan on her official Twitter Account on March 25 and told that she will perform at Rain night club in Las Vegas’s Palms Casino and Resort later that day .
She told her fans via Twitter that her supposedly surprise appearance at the Las Vegas- based night club isn’t a secret anymore and she went on to issue an open invitation for everyone to come and see her perform live . “You’re all invited. Be there or be square bitch!” she tweeted.
This might not be her first performance at the Rain nightclub, as back in 2003, she surprised the 1800 people at the club by making an unannounced appearance at the club stage and gave the fans a 30 minute sneak peek of her then-upcoming album ‘In The Zone.’ Much to the delight of the clubgoers that night, Britney had performed songs such as ‘Breathe On Me’ and ‘Me Against The Music.’
Her next Rain night club show will be one of a series of performance that the pop diva has planned, as part of the promo campaign for her latest album ‘Hold It Against Me.’ Her Good Morning America appearance is scheduled to be recorded in advance on Sunday, which will then be aired on coming Tuesday for her fans to see on TV. Later that night, she will also visit the “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” talk show where she is going to perform Hold It Against Me” and “Till the World Ends.”
Her appearance on various programmes and clubs is expected to garner a lot of media attention, and it has led MTV to dedicate March 29 as the “Britney Takeover” day. Early next month, the Oops I did It Again-singer is also billed to appear on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show ” and the Kids’ Choice Awards 2011.
According to music and marketing experts , Team Britney has done a awesome job in the past few months , by hyping up her upcoming album with a non-stop series of teasers and clips that have increased public anticipation of her LP. In one of the recent interviews of her manager Larry Rudolph, he told MTV that his client’s new collection could be compared to the classic material produced by pop legend Madonna in her prime. It could be another marketing move by the Britney camp to remain competitive in the market now dominated by Lady Gaga.
Rudolph said, “In my opinion, this is her strongest album ever. It’s somewhat of a departure from what she’s done. It’s more mature. It’s more of a dance record and this really is … Britney’s Ray of Light album.”
If her manager’s words do come out to be genuine, then one thing is for sure that Britney fans are in for a treat.
