IHLS And Love

October 9, 2010

Either you like or dislike love stories, this one is surely going to make you quake your feet. The music that is brought by I Hate Luv Storys is new and is all about love. Yes, we know that the title sound as if it is against love; but, believe me, the whole album is not. The album is so buoyant all throughout and the love meter is soaring high in the entire song.

It is considered to be a citified album, wherein all the urban culture that we have today is depicted in its every song, and Vishal Shekhar, the musical duo in the film has shown what the youth culture is today. The music that is brought by the duo is something new, fresh, pro- love, peppy, and of course, romantic. I Hate Luv Storys stars Sonam Kapoor and Imran Khan I the lead. With this movie, the debutante director Punit Malhotra has made it his debut to the Bollywood. The movie was being produced by Karan Johar, and Vishal Shekhar is the music star of I Hate Luv Storys.

The Imran Khan – Sonam Kapoor duo, with their debutant director Punit Malhotra, has offered five original soundtrack, plus three remixes on the album. The album will be released to the public on the 25th of May, 2010.

Starting with “Jab Mila Tu” crooned by Vishal Dadlani has spread over the masses real quick. The song has maintained a very good tempo from its start to its finish, and it is very enjoyable to hear. Anvita Dutt Guptan was the one who wrote the lyrics. Vishal has beautifully sung the song, and he was able to do it in the same way that he has sung Jaane Kyun from Dostana. The song has got the same upshot and so archetypal Vishal. Vishal’s singing career has finally taken off and has gained its prominence in the Bollywood.

Subsequently, there is “Bin tere”, which is arguably the most soothing and calming poignant track in this album. It starts with lyrics that are on English, and it is followed by Hindi lyrics. Eminent Pakistani singer Shafqat Amanat Ali’ has voiced for the song. His beautiful rendition of the song has made it soulful and a very melodious one. The song is really easy on the ear, as it is very mellow. Even Sunidhi Chauhan plays a cameo in the end. This one is sure to make hoopla. “Bin tere” also has two more versions of the song, which are the remixed version that has fast tempo and can make the listeners groove, and another discotheque version. The other is a reprised version by Shekhar Ravijiani.
