Lil Wayne Starts I Am Still Music Tour With Rick Ross
April 7, 2011Lil Wayne composed his long awaited return as the ‘main event’ of a high profile Musical Show on Wednesday night, and Weezy didn’t waste the chance to let the audience know how grateful he is to be back on the stage in his comfort zone.
He spoke with the crowd and said that he missed being in front of them all, during his tough time in prison and fans also screamed their hearts out as if to say that they also missed the diminutive rap star.
The crowd supported Weezy in every possible manner and whatever he preached, his fans obliged . From there on, he set upon delivering his trademark inspired content, all while his Young Money artists such as Jae Millz, Shanell, Lil Twist and Mack Maine kept on joining him on stage.
Wearing his favorite white jersey and blue jeans, it seemed as if Wayne had lost some weight since his stint behind the bars. His hair grew longer than usual, and his rap delivery is extra ordinary.
The A Milli singer is legally restricted from consuming any alcohol or drugs and the added activeness in his body was clearly seen the whole night. He performed ‘Got Money,’ ‘I’m Going In’ and ‘Look At Me Now’ before playing some old song from his critically acclaimed mix tape ‘No Ceilings.’ After giving fans their money’s worth, he then made way for female MC Nicki Minaj.
Nicki was ready to conquer the audience, after being introduced on stage by a odd monk-like figure, with a clip of ‘Gladiator’ movie playing in the background screen. She kicked off her cameo with the performance of ‘Roman’s Revenge.’ Dressed in a white and her favorite pink-colored suit, Nicki did full justice with her alter ego of ‘Roman.’
During her staged performance, she further found the opportunity to play some football with her backup dancers, and like the winner he is, Nicki ran past everyone to score a memorable, fake touchdown.
The pink diva then showed the flirtatious side of her personality by inviting a fan on stage for a lap dance, and then stayed true to her word by delivering what she had promised, much to the amazement of her ecstatic fan.
Half an hour later, Wayne took to the stage once again and started off his second session of the night by playing material from ‘Rebirth.’ When time came to present ‘Bed Rock’ Jae Millz, Mack Maine and Minaj joined Wayne once again to support him vocally.
But the most fired up artist of the night was Wayne’s prodigy Cory Gunz, whose high-octane version of ’6 Foot 7 Foot’ was easily the most electrifying song of the show.
Then Rick Ross appeared , with rock band Blink-182′s Travis Barker behind the musical instruments . The Miami rapper was as smooth as anyone and his half hour stay on the stage resulted in him spitting ‘B.M.F. (Blowin’ Money Fast)’ and ‘Hustlin.’
At the end of the program , Wayne gave a shout out to a number of the famous names of the American music industry that had died , for example Notorious B.I.G, Tupac, Michael Jackson and the recently expired Nate Dogg.Free Online Music
