April 21, 2011Ajay Devgan’s real name is Vishal Veeru Devgan, who is a popular actor, director and a producer. He is married to the talented film actress Kajol. Ajay used his aircraft for film promotions and travelling to locations and he is the first star to do so.
Ajay Devgan, who is the son of noted stunt director Veeru Devgan, entered Bollywood with the movie Phool Aur Kaante. He was bestowed with the Filmfare Award for Newcomer. Opposite to Karishma Kapoor, he starred in Jigar, which fared well at the box office. He is also acted in Ek Hi Raasta and Platform, which were action films. His combination with the popular director Harry Baweja resulted in hit films like Dilwale, Vijaypath and Suhaag.
Ajay Devgan acted in Ishq, which is a rom-com after doing a lot of action-packed Hindi movies. In 1998, Ajay acted in the well known filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt’s movie named Zakhm. Gangaajal, directed by Prakash Jha was another huge success of Ajay. His movies Rajneeti and Halla Bol were also made in a political background.
The pairing up of Ajay Devgan and film director Rohit Shetty could produce Golmaal, Golmaal Returns and Golmaal 3, which were comical films. His newest film Toonpur Ka Superhero released in 2010 is a 3 Dimensional film and it is about a films star who is abducted by Devtoons of Toonpur.
